How Much Does a U.S. Trademark Cost?
Two separate costs make up the total — here's how they break down.
The total cost of a U.S. trademark application comes from two different sources: our service fee, and the USPTO's own government filing fee. They're often confused, so let's separate them clearly.
Our service fee: $150
This covers our preliminary search, application preparation, filing coordination, and status monitoring — the work described on our registration page.
USPTO government fee: $350 per class
This is paid directly as part of your filing and is not our fee — it goes to the USPTO itself. It's charged per class of goods/services, not per trademark, so an application covering unrelated categories (say, clothing and software) needs a fee for each class.
